Hospice Social Worker

Status : Part-time

Office Location: Worcester, MA


Overview of Hospice Social Worker Position: Provides counseling and casework services to patients and families that focuses on the management of the psychosocial status of the patient and family that are experiencing terminal illness. Counseling is rendered within the context of the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients and their families during the last phase of life including grief recovery process.

Education Summary: Master's Degree from a school of social work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.

Experience: Minimum of one year experience in a health care setting. 

Hours: 24 hours a week
