Hospice CNA or Home Health Aide, M-F 8:00AM-4:30PM

Office Location: Worcester, MA

Description:

 $2,500 sign-on bonus!

Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM

Location: Worcester County area

Hospice CNA or HHA Position Summary:

Ou Our CNAs and HHAs provide personal care and light housekeeping for patients under the direction of a licensed clinician.

CNAs and HHAs follow an established Plan of Care following standard precautions

Documentation of care provided in a timely manner

Carries out duties and responsibilities in a manner that exemplifies excellent customer service in a caring and professional way

       Maintains strict confidentiality of patient/family/caregiver information at all times

Requirements:

=        High School Diploma or GED required

=        Current Massachusetts CNA or HHA certification required

=        Understands, and has experience with, the process of end of life care

=        Successful completion of the required training program which includes a minimum of 75 hours training, competency testing, written skills and 12 hours in-service per year (pro-rated the first year.

=        Ability to make observations of changes in a patient's status.

=        Ability to reach and write English and document in a medical chart

=        Understanding of and commitment to the Hospice philosophy

=        Ability to work with a variety of people and as a member of a team

Experience:

=        Minimum 1 year of Hospice CNA or HHA experience.
