VNA Care is currently hiring RNs for our Urgent Care Services program. 

Per Visit Schedule, we work with your availability! Majority of visits are in the afternoon.

Overview of the Acute Care RN Position:

The Acute Care RN will visit patients in their homes, providing direct skilled nursing care and assessing health needs to manage symptoms and prevent disease exacerbation. The Acute Care RN works with the patient and their caregivers to promote, restore, and maintain health and minimize the effects of illness or injury.

Care includes: home infusion, medication reconciliation and administration, wound care, phlebotomy, telehealth, care coordination, and holistic acute assessment with emphasis on cardiovascular, neurologic, orthopedic, and pulmonary systems. 

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or graduate of a diploma or Associate’s Degree program in nursing required.

Licensure:

Licensed to practice in Massachusetts

Experience:

Minimum of two years recent acute hospital experience required. Experience in wound/ostomy care and infusion therapy highly preferred. Experience with disease management, tele-medicine, and home care preferred.
